/meta_material is an architectural installation commissioned for Downtown Bentonville’s Skylight Cinema building in 2020. This site-specific holographic mural is seamlessly integrated into the building’s concrete façade, pushing the limits of image data and perception. Vieux applied her distinctive digital-painterly language to create a hyper-fluid, illusionistic environment that blurs the boundaries between physical architecture and virtual space. The piece invites viewers to immerse themselves in its shifting optical effects and reconsider the nature of materiality and perception. 

The installation is part of OZ Art, ARkanvas, a statewide public art initiative curated by Justkids, which brought works by internationally recognized artists to communities across Arkansas.
