Anne Vieux (b. 1985) received her BFA in Painting and Art History from the Kansas City Art Institute and her MFA from the Cranbrook Academy of Art.  Over the past decade, Vieux has expanded her practice to include painting, sculpture, installation, video, and artist books. Her work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions at venues such as The Journal (New York, NY), Brintz + County Gallery (Palm Beach, FL), König Galerie (Berlin, DE), Cranbrook Art Museum (Bloomfield Hills, MI), Hunter College Art Gallery, the National Arts Club (New York, NY), and the Newcomb Art Museum (New Orleans, LA).

Vieux’s work is included in several notable collections, including the Newcomb Art Museum and the libraries of the National Gallery of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Reed College. She has also been commissioned for numerous public artworks across the United States.
